This may be like an obvious tip, but it always something we become tired of and slack on. Not only does recycling save energy, but it also saves water, space, and even resources. If your company does not have recycling containers, make sure you get them and specify what can go in them. Companies should urge employees to bring their lunch. This will save employees money and decrease waste. By doing so, employees are likely to use reusable containers and cutlery. The number of waste employees produces daily could easily be recycled and converted into something new, without entering our overflowing landfills. By recycling, you are eliminating the manufacturer’s necessity to produce from scratch resulting in the factory using less energy, water, and other resources.
2. Ditch Paper
Things are evolving in the business world every day, and companies no longer need to print every document. Everything can be recorded on a computer. You can also approve and sign documents on the web. There is no need to print tons of emails and powerpoint presentations. If you need to use paper, use scratch paper or print double-sided. 7. Leave the Car at Home
Encourage your employees to walk, bike, or carpool to work bike or carpool to work. Not only is it right for you them, but it helps the environment too!
